Ensuring the highest priority to quality in Vitamin testing.

Vitamins

A sufficient amount of vitamins is important to maintain health in both humans and animals.

Vitamins can be broken down into two subcategories – water soluble and fat soluble vitamins. The water soluble vitamins are not stored in the body, and they therefore need more frequent replacement. The fat soluble vitamins are stored in the fatty tissues in the body. Because the fat soluble vitamins are stored for longer, there is a risk of overdosing these. It is therefore crucial to monitor vitamin content, not just to ensure that we get enough, but also to ensure that samples do not contain too much.

Vitamin testing

The vitamin center employs a highly skilled team and applies state of the art equipment. Through the Eurofins network our competences are available to customers all around the world.

We continuously expand our method portfolio by implementing, optimizing and validating according to customer requests. Both optimization of old methods and development of new is a continuous process to ensure that we meet requirements for testing and documentation on an international level.

For standard vitamin testing a mix of EN/ISO, USP, AOAC and in-house methods etc. are applied.
